- 1 can tuna, drained
- 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon pickle juice
- Sprinkle of black pepper
- 2 green onions, diced
- Large sprinkle of red chili flakes (optional)
- 2 pieces of bread
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ cup of prepared tuna salad
- 4 slices of cheese (rectangular or 1 large square slice)
- ½ avocado, mashed
- 4 thin slices of tomato
- 1 tablespoon pesto
Instructions
- Combine drained tuna, Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, pickle juice, black pepper, green onions, and chili flakes in a bowl.
- Spread olive oil on one side of each bread slice.
- On one slice, spread the prepared tuna salad evenly; add cheese and top with the second slice, oil side up.
- For 'tunacado', spread pesto on one slice and avocado with tomato on the other before assembling.
- Air fry at 390°F for about 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
