- 2 boxes fudge brownie mix plus ingredients on back of packages
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened to room temperature
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream or milk
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup miniature chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two 9" springform pans.
- Mix brownie batter according to package directions and divide between pans.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, then cool before removing pans.
- Cream butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a stand mixer.
- Add heavy cream and vanilla, then mix until smooth.
- Incorporate flour and salt, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Layer one brownie on a cake stand, spread cookie dough on top, and add the second brownie.
- Make ganache by combining chocolate chips and heavy cream, then stir until smooth.
- Pour ganache over the cake and top with miniature chocolate chips.
Notes
Ensure butter is softened to achieve a creamy texture for the cookie dough.
Don’t overmix the cookie dough after adding flour for a light texture.
Homemade brownie batter can be used instead of mix for a personal touch.
