  • 2 boxes fudge brownie mix plus ingredients on back of packages
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened to room temperature
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup miniature chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two 9" springform pans.
  • Mix brownie batter according to package directions and divide between pans.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, then cool before removing pans.
  • Cream butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a stand mixer.
  • Add heavy cream and vanilla, then mix until smooth.
  • Incorporate flour and salt, then fold in chocolate chips.
  • Layer one brownie on a cake stand, spread cookie dough on top, and add the second brownie.
  • Make ganache by combining chocolate chips and heavy cream, then stir until smooth.
  • Pour ganache over the cake and top with miniature chocolate chips.

Notes

Ensure butter is softened to achieve a creamy texture for the cookie dough.
Don’t overmix the cookie dough after adding flour for a light texture.
Homemade brownie batter can be used instead of mix for a personal touch.
