  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lb steak (Ribeye, New York, or beef chuck for a cheaper version), cut into 3/4 inch cubes
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1/2 tsp dried garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried onion powder
  • 1 tsp Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 lb asparagus, tough ends trimmed (alternatively, spears of zucchini)
  • 1/4 tsp salt (for asparagus)
  • 1/2 tsp oil (optional for asparagus)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
  • Trim steak and cut into 3/4 inch cubes. Mix oil and spices in a ziplock bag, then add steak and coat evenly.
  • Spray air fryer basket with nonstick spray. Cook steak cubes for 4-6 minutes, checking for doneness.
  • Toss asparagus with oil and salt. Add to air fryer after steak is cooked and grill for an additional 3 minutes.
  • Serve hot on a plate.

Notes

Trim excess fat from steak for tenderness.
Avoid overcrowding the air fryer for even cooking.
Feel free to modify spice levels to suit your taste.
