Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box white cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box, such as eggs, oil, and water)
  • 1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin (or any pastel-colored gelatin like lemon, lime, or berry blue)
  • 1 package (3 oz) lime gelatin (or another contrasting pastel color)
  • 2 cups boiling water (1 cup per gelatin flavor)

  • Easter sprinkles or mini chocolate eggs for decoration

Instructions

  • Follow the package instructions for the white cake mix; preheat oven, mix ingredients, and bake until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Once the cake cools, poke holes all over the surface using the handle of a wooden spoon.
  • In separate bowls, dissolve each gelatin flavor in one cup of boiling water and stir until dissolved.
  • Pour strawberry gelatin over one half of the cake and lime gelatin over the other half, then chill for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • Spread whipped topping evenly over the cooled cake.
  • Sprinkle with sweetened coconut and decorate with Easter sprinkles or mini chocolate eggs.

Notes

Ensure the cake is completely cooled before poking holes to avoid crumbling.
Experiment with different gelatin flavors for a personal touch.
