- 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 8 ounces uncooked lo mein noodles
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 ½ tablespoons minced garlic
- 2 medium boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup snow peas
- 3 cups fresh spinach
Instructions
- Whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl and set aside.
- Bring a pot of water to boil, add lo mein noodles, and cook for 3-4 minutes until al dente.
- Heat olive oil and sesame oil in a nonstick pan, sauté minced garlic and chicken until golden.
- Add carrots and snow peas to the pan, stir-fry for about 3 minutes.
- Combine spinach, lo mein noodles, chicken, and sauce in the pan, cooking until heated through.
Notes
Do not overcook the noodles; they should remain slightly firm.
Customize the sauce to fit your taste preferences.
