Ingredients

  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lemon (divided)
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 tsp salt (divided)
  • 1 tsp black pepper (divided)
  • 1 celery rib, diced
  • 2 green onions, diced
  • 2 tsp chives, chopped
  • 5 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 4 rolls or hot dog buns
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  • Boil water in pot with lemon juice, lemon halves, dill, salt, and pepper.
  • Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Set aside to cool.
  • Dice celery, green onions, chives, and dill. In a bowl, combine with mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  • Gently stir in the cooled shrimp. Chill for enhanced flavors if desired.
  • Brush buns with butter and toast under the broiler until golden.
  • Assemble by filling toasted buns with shrimp salad and garnish with dill.

Notes
