- 12 Hawaiian rolls (1 package)
- 8 slices cheese (cheddar or American)
- 10 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
- 10 large eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter (melted)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives
- Flaky sea salt (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch pan.
- Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the top half connected.
- Place the bottom halves in the greased pan and layer cheese slices over them.
- Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a larger bowl.
- Scramble the egg mixture in a greased skillet over medium-low heat.
- Spread scrambled eggs on the cheese, then add crumbled bacon.
- Place the top halves of the rolls over the filling.
- Combine melted butter and minced garlic, then brush it over the top.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until cheese melts and tops are golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped chives and flaky sea salt before serving.
Notes
Avoid overcooking the eggs as they continue to cook in the oven.
Add jalapeños or Sriracha for a spicy twist.
Substitute bacon with sausage or turkey bacon for different flavors.
