  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup heavy cream (room temperature)
  • 2 ½ tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature and cubed)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup heavy cream (hot and steaming)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F and prepare the pan with non-stick spray and parchment paper.
  • Sift dry ingredients together in a bowl and set aside.
  • Beat sugar, eggs, and egg yolks on high until light and fluffy.
  • Mix melted butter, oil, and vanilla into the egg mixture.
  • Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture and incorporate chocolate chips.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45-55 minutes.
  • Prepare salted caramel by melting sugar and adding butter, cream, vanilla, and salt.
  • Make chocolate ganache by heating cream and mixing with chocolate chips until smooth.
  • Cut cooled brownies into heart shapes, frost with ganache, and drizzle with caramel.
