- 2 oz blonde espresso or strongly brewed coffee
- 1 tablespoon lavender powder (or lavender syrup)
- Ice
- 10 oz oat milk (barista style recommended)
- ¼ cup culinary-grade dried lavender
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 ½ teaspoon black currant powder (optional)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon soy lecithin powder (optional)
Instructions
- Brew the blonde espresso or coffee and set aside to cool slightly.
- Combine cooled espresso with lavender powder in a glass, stirring well.
- Fill the glass with ice, leaving space for oat milk.
- Pour oat milk slowly to create a lovely swirl.
- Grind dried lavender in a grinder until fine powder.
- Mix lavender powder, sugar, black currant powder, salt, and soy lecithin in a bowl.
- Pulse the mixture in the grinder again until fine and store.
Notes
Make sure lavender powder is finely ground for the best flavor.
Chilled oat milk enhances the refreshing quality of the drink.
