- 8 mozzarella string cheese sticks, halved crosswise

- ½ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup blanched almond flour
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Prepare three shallow bowls: one with coconut flour, one with whisked eggs, and one with Savory Breading Mix.
- Coat each cheese stick in coconut flour, dip in eggs, then roll in Savory Breading Mix.
- Place the breaded sticks on a baking sheet and freeze for at least 3 hours.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat and fry the sticks until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove and drain excess oil on paper towels.
- Serve with marinara sauce and ranch dressing.
Notes
Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying for the best crunch.
Freezing allows the coating to set and prevents cheese from oozing out.
Using parchment paper during breading makes cleanup easier.
