  • 2 large eggs, whisked
  • 1 batch Savory Breading Mix
  • 8 mozzarella string cheese sticks, halved crosswise
  • Cooking oil (such as avocado oil or tallow)
  • Marinara Sauce, for serving
  • Ranch Dressing, for serving
  • ½ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup blanched almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  • Prepare three shallow bowls: one with coconut flour, one with whisked eggs, and one with Savory Breading Mix.
  • Coat each cheese stick in coconut flour, dip in eggs, then roll in Savory Breading Mix.
  • Place the breaded sticks on a baking sheet and freeze for at least 3 hours.
  • Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat and fry the sticks until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Remove and drain excess oil on paper towels.
  • Serve with marinara sauce and ranch dressing.

Notes

Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying for the best crunch.
