- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 14 oz Andouille Sausage, sliced
- 6 tbsp Butter, divided (2 tbsp & 4 tbsp)
- 1/2 Onion, chopped
- 3 tsp Cajun Seasoning
- 5 cups Chopped Cabbage
- 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear Andouille sausage until crispy, then remove and set aside.
- Lower heat, add 2 tbsp butter, and sauté onion until soft.
- Add remaining butter, cabbage, and Cajun seasoning; mix well.
- Stir in heavy cream and allow to combine.
- Cover and simmer until cabbage is tender.
- Mix in Parmesan cheese, simmer until thickened.
- Return sausage to skillet, mix thoroughly, and serve hot.
Notes
Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for desired spice level.
A splash of lemon juice before serving enhances flavor.
Ensure uniform cabbage chopping for even cooking.
