  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/3 cup Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar (for glaze)
  • 12 tbsp Milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  • Combine cold cubed butter, flour, and powdered sugar in a food processor to make the crumble topping.
  • Beat softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth for the filling.
  • Whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
  • Cream softened butter with lemon zest and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  • Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until combined.
  • Whisk together milk and lemon juice, letting it sit for a few minutes.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter mixture, then mix in the milk and lemon juice.
  • Pour cake batter into a prepared pan, add cream cheese filling, and sprinkle crumble topping.
