- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup Oreos, chopped
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup Oreos, chopped (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×4 loaf pan.
- Mash ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
- Mix in vegetable oil, baking soda, salt, vanilla extract, eggs, and sugars until smooth.
- Gradually add all-purpose flour and mix until just combined.
- Fold in chopped Oreos gently into the batter.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Whisk together glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled bread, topping with extra chopped Oreos.
Notes
Ensure bananas are very ripe with brown spots for optimal sweetness.
Avoid overmixing to keep the bread fluffy.
You can add chopped nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
