  • 1 large egg
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 ¼ cup all-purpose flour (300 g)
  • ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (193 g)
  • 2 cups Oreo pieces (about 14 cookies, 160 g)
  • More Oreos for topping

Instructions

  • Beat melted butter and brown sugar until creamy.
  • Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla; mix until fluffy.
  • Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; mix well.
  • Combine dry and wet ingredients until just incorporated.
  • Fold in Oreo pieces and chocolate chips.
  • Chill dough for 30 minutes.
  • Portion dough onto a baking sheet; chill for another 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 14-15 minutes.</li>
  • Cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
