- 2 lbs Brussels Sprouts
- Salt, to taste
- Oil for frying
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp Calabrian Chili Rub
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ⅓ cup honey
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Instructions
- Wash Brussels sprouts under cool running water.
- Blanch in boiling water for 4 minutes.
- Drain excess water using a colander.
- Combine Calabrian chili rub, sea salt, honey, and sugar in a bowl.
- Heat oil and flash fry Brussels sprouts until golden, 3-5 minutes.
- Melt unsalted butter and stir in the seasoning mixture.
- Toss Brussels sprouts in buttery seasoning to coat and serve.
Notes
Ensure the oil is sufficiently hot for proper frying.
Adjust sweetness with honey and sugar according to taste.
