- 1 bunch green onions, sliced and divided
- 2 quarts broth (chicken or vegetable)
- 1 (24 oz) package frozen potstickers
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- ½ pound baby bok choy, chopped
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Hot chili oil, for garnish
- Red pepper flakes, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a soup pot over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic, ginger, and white parts of green onions for 2 minutes.
- Add broth and bring to a low boil over medium-high heat.
- Add frozen potstickers and boil gently for 1 minute. Stir gently for even cooking.
- Reduce heat to medium and let the soup simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in chopped bok choy and soy sauce, simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Ladle soup into bowls and garnish with green onions, cilantro, sesame seeds, and optional chili oil or red pepper flakes.
Notes
Use high-quality broth for the best flavor.
Ensure potstickers are evenly spaced while boiling to prevent sticking.
Adjust the spice level to personal preference with chili oil or red pepper flakes.
