- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 containers (8 oz each) whipped topping
- 1 box (0.3 oz) strawberry gelatin (1/2 cup serving size)
- 2/3 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water plus enough ice cubes to make 1 cup
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced small
- Additional strawberries for garnish
- Crushed cookies for garnish
- Chocolate curls for garnish
Instructions
- Crush the golden Oreo cookies until fine.
- Combine cookie crumbs with melted butter and press into a dish, refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Cream cream cheese and sugar, fold in whipped topping, and spread over the chilled crust.
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water, then mix with cold water and ice.
- Fold in strawberries and whipped topping, then spread over the cream cheese layer.
- Spread remaining whipped topping over the top, garnish, and chill for at least 4 hours.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
Chill each layer to maintain structure for clean slices.
Substitute berries if needed; raspberries or blueberries work well.
