- ½ teaspoon (2g) cream of tartar
- ¼ teaspoon (1.2g) salt
- ½ cup sprinkles
- Gel colors (Pink, Royal Blue, and Violet)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a cookie sheet.
- Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy; incorporate eggs and vanilla.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt; mix into the butter mixture.
- Fold in the sprinkles evenly.
- Divide the dough and color three portions with gel colors.
- Swirl the colored doughs together for a marbled effect.
- Scoop and shape into balls, rolling in sugar or sprinkles.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden; cool on a wire rack.
Notes
Use room temperature butter for best texture.
Avoid overmixing after adding colors to keep the tie-dye effect.
Chill the dough if cookies spread too much during baking.
