- 2 1/2 cups thinly sliced Vidalia onions
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 large eggs

- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Dash of hot sauce
- 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp dry parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Combine melted butter with crumbled crackers and press into a pie pan.
- Sauté thinly sliced Vidalia onions in butter until caramelized.
- In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, salt, pepper, and hot sauce.
- Spread sautéed onions over the crust, pour egg mixture on top, and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake for about 40 minutes until golden brown and filling is set.
Notes
Ensure onions are sliced thinly for even cooking.
